Why We Exist
Every community has some of the highest rates of youth poverty, gun violence, and drug use in the nation. For too many teens, the odds are stacked against them before they even get started.
Unique Teenz was founded on a simple but radical belief: every teen — no matter where they come from, no matter what they've been through — deserves a real shot at life.
We go where the need is greatest. We show up in communities that have been overlooked, underfunded, and underserved. We build relationships, not just programs.

The Person Behind the Mission
Nicole (Unique) Miller
Founder & CEO
Unique Miller was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana — a city of unmatched culture, resilience, and heart, but also one that has seen its young people face extraordinary hardship. Growing up surrounded by the realities of street violence, poverty, and limited opportunity, Unique refused to accept that this was the only path available to the next generation.
Driven by a deep personal conviction that every teen deserves a fighting chance, Unique founded Unique Teenz to be the organization she wished had existed — one that shows up, stays present, and never gives up on young people no matter how far they've fallen.
Today, Unique leads the organization with the same fire and determination that started it all — fighting every day to pull teens away from violence and despair, and toward a future worth living.
